The Restoration Company

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I experienced water damage over two floors (upstairs bathroom leak). Betty Sandoval and every member of her crew were professional, always on time, answered all of my questions and went above and beyond their services. I am a widower so honesty and safety is a priority, this company delivers. I highly recommend them.

We are very disappointed with the Restoration Company in Fresno. We asked them to perform air quality testing in our home. When the results came in, it showed higher indoor concentrations of Aspergillus/Penicillium, Cladosporium and Torula in two rooms than outdoor mold levels (these types of mold typically present in the air). The levels were not considered within what is typically a health concern. There is no visible signs of any water damage, decay and no incidents that could have caused mold to be trapped in walls (except speculation) or under our vinyl plank flooring. The majority of our house has concrete flooring (w/no coverings). They recommended pulling off baseboards, cutting into the drywall and removing vinyl plank to search for the mold and if none was found we would still be looking at about $4000 for removal and additional costs to return everything to normal. They did not ask us to close off the tested areas by closing the windows the night prior or closing doors to ensure the outside mold was not just blowing in. When we were skeptical and asked for the test to be repeated before we began opening up walls they said they would not recommend that as there are too many variables. We decided to pay a separate company that does only testing and not remediation to test our indoor air. This second opinion came from a Certified Industrial Hygienist, who came to the opposite conclusion. No higher levels indoors and not issues to address. After confronted with this, Brandon that represents The Restoration Company stood by their results and recommendations. He also stated that all tests might come up with different results. This was even more disappointing, considering that the company had recommended expensive work based on one test in three locations (plus one outside) and with us asking about doing additional testing, he recommended against it. When we requested our money back, the Restoration Company declined. We feel it is a conflict of interest to be testing and doing remediation and restoration as it is to their benefit to lean in the direction of opening up walls and tearing things apart to find something that might not be there. Especially, when they are the so called "specialist" recommending work.

I can’t say enough good things about The Restoration Company. They handled my water damage with care and professionalism—safely removing the damaged flooring, thoroughly drying the area, and expertly replacing the flooring. The staff was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond my expectations. As someone who has difficulty ambulating, I truly appreciated their trustworthiness and willingness to help. Highly recommend!

Had my house flood recently, it was a nightmare. One of my coworkers highly recommended this company. Glad they did, they were responsive, reasonable, and the process was faster than I expected for the amount of damage. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
