I want to share the extraordinarily fabulous experience we had with Jose, Brandon, and Ken who came to take care of our house after a devastating flood event from a broken toilet supply line. Jose and his team showed up exactly at the time they said they would each day. They were careful with moving in all their equipment to dry the house, taking great care to show professionalism and kindness to us throughout this devastating experience we had with water all over our entire house. They removed baseboards and drilled holes as needed to make sure their drying equipment could do its job. We followed their instructions and left equipment running nonstop and everything dried to their specifications. Their kindness, dedication to excellence, and outstanding customer service are most appreciated and I hope Jose, Brandon, and Ken receive rewards and raises for their extraordinary work on our behalf.

We arrived in October to find massive water damage in our Daytona Beach condo. Our insurance recommended Joe Taylor for immediate inspection. Brandon drove to DB on a Saturday to review the damage, take pictures and start the process!! He left us with an industrial dehumidifier and air filters. He answered our calls, responded to my texts and stayed with us all the way. His very efficient crew spent a day on demo. They took all of the contaminated debris and left all the areas spotless. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. After a water loss in October, this company handled the initial dry out, but communication and follow-through were very poor afterward. The process stalled for months, my insurance claim was delayed, and I ultimately had to bring in another contractor to move repairs forward. I did not feel there was urgency or accountability, and the situation caused significant stress and disruption to my home. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Brandon did an excellent job helping me. Not only was the actual work excellent, but I truly appreciated all the communication as well. An AC unit was incorrectly installed and leaking into the floor, walls, and wall voids of the first floor from the second floor hvac closet. I wanted to address this problem as quickly as possible to avoid serious damage to the home. Joe Taylor Restoration not only came to my home the same day I called, but they also gave me a quote and actually started the work that day, as well. This was such a relief. I’d previously called DriRite, who said they gave free quotes. Unfortunately, when the guy from that company assessed the situation, he would not give me a quote or estimate unless I paid for it upfront AND gave him a copy of my homeowners insurance policy. I just wanted to hire someone for the work and pay for it directly, without any delays waiting on insurance approval and potentially increasing my homeowners insurance premium in the future after a claim. I’m thankful that Joe Taylor Restoration was professional, prompt, and willing to take a payment directly from a customer rather than trying to see if they could milk the situation and get even more if an insurance company got involved. Situations like this can be very stressful, and I appreciated Brandon’s knowledge, honesty, and care. I felt like he was very careful to not be too destructive, as that would just cost more in the long run with repairs. I’m a realtor, and I’m asked for recommendations for companies like this all the time. I’ve already recommended JTR and Brandon to a current client, and I’ll be happy to do so in the future as well. All-around great service. I appreciate the speedy response. I found it convenient and beneficial. Brandon was my service technician, who did a great job drying my home and providing excellent customer service. He went above and beyond to get the job done. I appreciate his timeliness and effort applied to discover the problem and execute a solution. I will always use this service in the future and recommend others as well. Thanks.
