About 5 months ago I did 5 stars review to JD Restorations because they did promptly response to help me with a water leak and mold in my bathroom. Unfortunately, today I have to lower the rating to 1 star due to the company JD Restorations hired ( Nation Wide) to deal with my roof claim is a joke. Mr. Vladimir from Nationwide the adjuster was assigned to my case. The day my insurance company came to do the first inspection Vladimir did not show up, supposedly he was running late but never came into my house. After waiting 4-5 months and not hearing from Vladimir I started calling and sending Nationwide emails asking them about the status of my roof. I spoke with Ana and Julio from Nationwide and they told me” Vladimir is the only one that knows about your case. We are going to leave him a message for him to call you”. In the meantime, my insurance adjuster came to my house for a second inspection and told me “This is a very simple case we can offer $16,000 to you so you can fix your roof, but we had tried to communicate with Vladimir and he does not response our emails or our messages.” At the beginning of the year Vladimir finally called me and told me “I negotiate your claim with your insurance for $21,000 minus the deductibles and my commission you will have $17,000 new money in your pocket to fix your roof. I received 2 payments $3,940 and $3,137.09. This is without taking Vladimir commission of 10% and the company commission that processes the payment. I just wanted clarification from Vladimir of really what was the amount he negotiates with my insurance because these numbers do not add $17,000. Only if Vladimir or somebody from Nationwide can call me
Updating my review as the company did reach out to me to resolve the issues I had with their worker. The owner called and apologized for the experience I had, and they had someone come out and repair our wall. I don't like having terrible experiences with businesses (who does?!) But how a business handles their customers after they've had a bad experience speaks volumes about the business. Did the business reach out and try to correct the wrongs? Did the business apologize? Did the business do what they say they would do after the experience? Yes, they did all 3 and for that I'm updating my review. I'm giving them five stars as they have gone above and beyond to correct the issues I had. They had someone come out and repair the hole, paint and replaced the baseboard.
My mother and father were devastated by the latest hurricane that came through Tampa. This company attempted to take advantage of my mother and father and they left them out high and dry after causing delays and delays which resulted in mold formation in my parents residence. They are now without a home and moving from place to place in the hopes that another contractor can rectify the wrongs that this company did to them.
This company is try to took 15000 from my parents services put a machine for three days leave holes on the ceiling said they don’t fix that also cover the roof and they are charging 15000 on top of my parents pay the electricity during those machines running for 8 hrs a day the first parson who came to their house offering the services said they only charge a 10% of what the get from the insurance and 15000 from 23000 is not 10% they are only giving him 6000 to fix the roof himself when they came him offered him to get the roof change to help him out but if you don’t see a repeat of from this company taking advantage of the older ppl that don’t have knowledge of how things work idk what you call it and before you reply back and said you don’t find me in you system yes your not because the account is under my father Manuel I will also wil start looking for a lawyer bc you company never left invoice of job done or what was done at the house for you company to charge amd take all his money
