Our home suffered severe water damage. The fire department was on the scene to assist us with evacuation shortly after the incident around 10:30 pm. H&L arrived at our property promptly, despite it being midnight, to assess the water damage. Their immediate response helped our family feel more at ease during this stressful situation. Todd and Michael from H&L visited daily to check the moisture levels, adjusting the direction of drying equipment to ensure all areas were properly dried. They used professional-grade equipment to extract water from our property, preventing further damage. Throughout the process, they kept us informed and explained each step of the restoration process in detail. The owner, Casaundra, fully trained her whole team to the highest standards of professionalism. They have a comprehensive understanding of the scope of water mitigation work and were able to provide us with step-by-step advice. Stormy, Amada, and Brenda consistently demonstrate not only a high level of professionalism but also a genuine empathy for the well-being of our family and our property. We were fortunate to have team Stormy, Amanda, Al, and Lorenda help with this process. This process requires professionalism and attention to detail that we didn't anticipate before. During the packing process, they identified a watermark on the kitchen ceiling across the east-west side and discovered moisture trapped in a cabinet, promptly bringing these issues to our attention. Al, in particular, took special care in packing and wrapping items with his heart. He well-wrapped all the children's kitchen set, table, cabinet, big-sized toys, and dresser. This ensured that our belongings were well-protected during the moving process. They also provided us with advice on preventing the growth of mold, truly demonstrating H&L's commitment to restoring our home. We are extremely grateful to the entire team for their exceptional service. it was an unfortunate time for us due to a major fire in our kitchen that caused smoke inhalation throughout the home and we needed to get it done. Casaundra and her crew did a great job with the renovation and restoration of my home in the Willow Glen area. The crew was on time every day throughout process, very punctual and professional. I just had Todd from H&L Restoration come take a look at some mold in my bathroom. He told me that it was just surface mold and that I could get rid of it myself. He told me exactly what to do.
