WARNING ****DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY This is not a restaoration company, they are demo and project management. The demo part is okay, but Project Manager title has been terribly misused. Incompetent/Traumatic/Lackluster customer experience from the moment we paid a deductible to 3 weeks over schedule. A 2-week, $15K job turned into 7 week (Truly 6 days worth of work per my Ring Camera). Workers left poop covered toilet paper in the bin upon our return. They broke a lamp, destroyed a doormat, left wing bones on my patio, threw away a piece of my built in cabinet with no communication, and additional damage. They hire people to work for pennies on the dollar with poor knowledge of construction. When I asked for the company to give me true ETA/due dates, they can’t meet expectations. When I asked for a reimbursement for some of my damaged property, I was given a month’s runaround that reimbursement is in progress. Just to then hear “We have not received funds on claim – The credit or reimbursement will be paid once insurance/tpa has paid us.” I couldn’t believe the stereotype of “nightmare renovations” would happen to us. If their name comes up again, I’m warning EVERYONE! Not just one person, management and down… UNACCEPTABLE!
I highly recommend this company. I had a great experience with them. Taylor and Josh, who helped plan the job, were knowledgeable and friendly. The crew they sent were hard working and did a beautiful job remodeling a bedroom and bath after water damage. The job was done promptly and efficiently. I am so pleased that I plan to hire them again in a few weeks for some other needed repairs. A really good contractor is hard to find.
FP Property Restoration- Tampa 2025 Hired to perform restoration on my two-story home in July of 2024 for a shower pan leak. The task was to replace the upstairs shower, carpets in the bonus room and bedroom, removal of cabinets, drywall, and painting. Also, installing cabinets, new carpets, shower doors and tiles. The Project Manager and the Territorial Manager both showed up assessing the damage in early July. We were given a quote of a little over $15,000 (insurance did not cover the damage). The work began shortly after the 4th of July of 2024. Three different crews performed the job at hand with minimal supervision. During the next 6 months, the following mishaps occurred. Lack of supervision by both the Project Manager and Territorial Manager. On 5 different occasions we were told that the “crew” was going to be at our residence and never showed up. On some occasions we were never contacted via a phone call or text. Only after we called the Project Manager, did we learn “they” were not coming. The excuse that was always given was that they were in a different location and were behind. On a different day, I was informed by the Project Manager that the crew replacing the upstairs carpet was going to be working all day. After arriving at my residence at 8:30 a.m., and still during the morning hours the crew packed their gear and told me that they were leaving because a crew member had a doctor’s appointment. I asked the crew member if the Project Manager was aware of the alleged doctor’s appointment, and the crew member told me that Project Manager was in fact aware. When the crew replaced the carpet, they installed two different color carpets on the upstairs bonus room. When I approached the crew member about the difference in color on the carpets, the crew member stated “that’s what Home Depot gave me” I contacted the Project Manager and sent him a picture of the difference in the color of the carpets. It took a couple of days for them to replace the carpet and correct the issue I was so frustrated with the quality of work I was receiving. I proceeded to contact the Territorial Manager via text. It took more than one tries to finally get a response, and when I did get a response from the Territorial Manager he stated, and I quote “I’m still wrapping my day up. My calls are at the end of the day. I’ll put in a request as I am territory manager and see if he can schedule a time.” I responded by saying, I guess shooting me a text was too much to ask from you. I then proceeded to ask him for his supervisor’s name and number in which I was never given that information nor did I get a response. Also, I need to mention that once the crew tore up the upstairs shower and rugs, they left all of the old rugs and broken shower parts in my garage. I asked the Project Manager if this was common practice, and he told me that it wasn’t. I had to make three trips to the district dump to get rid of all the garbage they left behind. The wrong shower door was also ordered four different times (door came in broken twice). I attempted to contact the CEO and was redirected to his secretary. I informed her about the wrongdoings, deceit, poor work performance, poor communication, and lack of supervision all done or not done by FP Property Restoration. The shower door was not replaced until December! During the installation of the carpet upstairs bedroom the crew broke the closet door. It took Five different attempts and over a month to fix the door correctly. This project that was not a hard task to accomplish, took over 6 months for FP Property Restoration to complete. In short, I would not hire FP Property Restoration to change a light bulb in my home. Their lack of professionalism is beyond reproach. In my entire lifetime, I have never been so disrespected by anyone and or by any company as I have been by FP Property Restoration. Update -Jan 31, 2025- After "THEY" promised a discount, FP Restoration insulted me by suggesting a $100.00 discount in which I declined and paid the bill in full. Once again disappointed and use to it
Taylor was extremely patient during my chaotic morning. He was very kind, answered my questions promptly, and was very thorough. He was professional and took the time to clearly explain the mold testing process, including the next steps and what to expect. I definitely recommend his services. Thank you, Taylor.
Whenever I’m in need of quotes or repairs, especially for water intrusion issues, Taylor is always my first call. He consistently goes above and beyond, often meeting me the same day or within 24 hours to assess the situation and deliver clear, accurate, and reasonably priced estimates. His team has completed several repair projects for me, and every time, the quality of their work has exceeded expectations. From start to finish, the staff is professional, courteous, and efficient, always completing the job on time and with great attention to detail. Whether you’re facing an urgent repair, planning a restoration, or tackling a renovation, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Taylor a call. You’ll be glad you did!
