Tomas and his team are amazingly conscientious and thorough in their work. Tomas has done remodel and maintenance work on our SF home for over a decade. Most recently, Tomas coordinated a team of plumbers, electricians and tilers to install two gas fireplaces in our 1940 San Francisco building. This was not a straightforward project, with lots of planning and coordination of the various contractors required. Tomas stayed on top of each twist and turn in the project implementation and remained very flexible and pleasant throughout. Highly recommend Tomas for your SF home renovation needs!

We were very lucky to be referred to Tomás and his team for help with repairs and upgrades to an older home we recently purchased in San Francisco. Initially, we thought the house only needed new interior paint and a new wood floor in one room, but we found several issues around the house that needed fixing. We also had new ideas, which Tomás gladly made happen. Over the several weeks and multiple projects, Tomás has been an outstanding communicator. He is very responsive and patient, because he is truly committed to his clients’ satisfaction. Importantly, Tomás is an experienced and skilled problem solver who has handled every issue that has come up, including electrical, plumbing, floors, detailed painting, and random repairs. Tomás and his team provide extremely high quality work that he guarantees. We completely trust and value Tomás and his team, and we cannot recommend him highly enough! We will be working with him on additional major projects next year as well.

This was my first meaningful home renovation (kitchen and bath) and I was, I think understandably, nervous about all the things I've heard of going wrong with construction projects. However, it was obvious from very early on that Tomas and team were going to be meticulous about the work they did. It was also clear from pictures that I showed my friends, who are more familiar with home renovations than I am, that this team went above and beyond in terms of the cleanliness and consideration they put in to all of their work. From managing debris, both in my unit and the common areas, to cooperating with the HOA and neighbors, to following up on any (small) fix-ups that were need after the project was complete, I can't say enough about how easy it was to work and feel at ease with Tomas and his team and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

I cannot say enough good things about Arias Construction. Tomas and his crew updated and visibly improved our newly purchased 1912 craftsman cottage in Oakland. The biggest jobs included a complete kitchen refresh, installing an oak floor in the kitchen and laundry room. replacing a pedestal sink in a bathroom with a vanity, insulating the house from the attic to underneath, installing wall space heaters in two rooms, and repairing many items identified by the property inspector before we purchased. They also painted the trim around the exterior windows, installed a new on demand water heater, as well as lifted and added a foundation under our art studio in the back yard. The whole project took about 2 months and came in at a very reasonable cost for the size of the project. We are thrilled with the result. From start to finish, Arias Construction was superb to work with. In addition to being very skillful, Tomas and his workers and subs are trustworthy, neat, punctual and hardworking. Tomas communicated with us every step of the way and kept things moving smoothly daily. He even indulged us with a few extra small home repairs that weren’t part of his contract. In summary, we can highly recommend Arias Construction.

Last year Tomas and his team helped us renovate our entire San Francisco Victorian Home that had not been updated since the 1950s! We bought a house that needed MANY repairs and updates and he was able to help us with pretty much every project we had and helped us do it quickly so we could move in sooner! His team did an absolutely incredible job completely tearing down all the walls to the studs, replacing the old knob and tube wiring, adding insulation, and then putting the walls back while maintaining and repairing the original character (matching tons of moulding on the walls and ceilings and repairing and maintaining the 11ft tall curved ceilings). They also were able to completely re finish and repair our hardwood floors while also extending and matching them in other areas of the house. His team also helped us replace and install a completely new HVAC, hook ups for washer dryer, adding a dishwasher and garbage disposal to the kitchen, and so much more, I cannot even remember. It was our first home and our first ever project SO large and we could not have imagined getting through it all without Tomas and his amazing team.
