Thanks to AWD for providing professional service during a frustrating time. Having to deal with a water leak is unfortunate but having professionals such as Adam Suniga and John Araiza whom set up then later recovered the equipment helped make the process easier. Thank you to both individuals for being patient and addressing my concerns of what I was dealing with.
After a water leak AWD came out and took a look at what the damage might be. We felt overwhelmed and anxious since this issue occurred Christmas eve. Gavin from AWD came out and helped put our minds at ease. He was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the plan moving forward. Later that day a technician, Ezaba, came by and setup the equipment to help prevent any further damage. He was personable and very kind. I'll update my review after the rest of the process, but so far so good. 10/10 recommend.
American Water Damage took incredible care of me and my home from start to finish. Their professionalism and customer-centered approach truly set them apart. Alex Meza, Tyler, and Michael went above and beyond to make sure I was informed, comfortable, and fully taken care of throughout the entire process. Their communication, attention to detail, and genuine concern for my situation made a stressful time so much easier. I’m extremely grateful for their hard work and dedication, and I will be recommending this team to all my family and friends. Highly recommend American Water Damage!!!!
Update: This company will try to charge for services not rendered! Make sure you review your itemized invoices. Be careful with all the positive reviews coming through. I trusted that in the beginning to. Seems they want to flood their reviews with positivity to cover up the truth in the negative reviews. Good luck! We were referred to this company by a plumber we were using. American water damage showed up like superhero’s, talked the talk, set up their equipment to begin the drying process and said they needed to test our house for asbestos first being it’s an older home (understandable). Mentioned they would still be involved and to contact them for any issues or questions. Test ended up coming back positive for asbestos. They came the next day and picked up all the equipment and then referred us to Apex (an asbestos abatement company) who not once reached out to us about price estimates or dates or any idea of what we were waiting on/needing. We sat here with a leak causing more damage for weeks with no communication or idea of what was to happen next. When we reached out, we were told to contact Apex. We had no number or any information for this company. Our home owners insurance ended up assigning us an adjuster who expedited our case and has since gotten us taken care of. The referred company Apex apparently called and emailed our home owners insurance multiple times a day but not once reached out to us with any information. No feedback or clear instructions were provided to an already stressful situation. Oh but low and behold when I finally made a call that we were not moving forward with these companies, I get a call today for an invoice they said they are sending to my adjuster… OH NOW there’s communication? For what services American water company? To plug in your fancy machines that I PAID to run? What a joke. Seems these companies are just desperate for insurance money payouts versus helping the actual consumer.
John was great, he understood this was Not something I wanted to have to go through. He was efficient and cleaned as he went. He worked well with the pack out crew. I had a particular request and he was able to accommodate it. Basically, he helped make a bad situation bearable.
